There are a lot of regular-size Home Depot skeletons in the house. She has a full-size hearse carriage with skeletons in it, a giant spider, a dragon, and lots of pumpkins. She has so many Halloween decorations that she needs to rent a storage unit and hire a moving truck every year. She did not need any more.

Rush, who lives in Augusta, Ga., says that her Halloween decorations have gotten out of hand. She didn't want to be tempted by any other plastic monsters. If they were on sale.

She didn't know about the Home Depot's new animatronic werewolf.

I told them to hold on. Halloween is still going on.

She had to buy him because she saw him and he was a big man with big hands. With a growl, he opens his mouth to reveal a row of fangs, and with a tilt of his head, he is the best of both worlds.

The day Home Depot makes its Halloween decorations available online for purchase is called the day Rush bought the werewolf. July 15 is when normal people are.

Rush says that he set the werewolf up in his house because he was so excited when he got him. She adores him. The boy loves him. Her two huskies regard him suspiciously.

Rush says they just look at it. They howl like he does.

Home Depot made a giant skeleton two years ago. What are you going to do next? Not with a talking skeleton or a taller skeleton, but by expanding into an entire multiverse of giant spooky creatures: There is now a witch who appears to fly on a 12-foot broomstick. The werewolf appears to have become a hit.

The skeletons are familiar to people. They have seen all of that. Houser has an elaborate campsite with a tent and body parts in her front yard.

A 50,000-member, 12-foot skeleton group is one of several large-scale holiday decorating groups moderated by a 44-year-old woman. There were rumors that the store's Halloween lineup would include a werewolf.

Some photos from a Home Depot conference were leaked. As he was getting ready to go under anesthesia for back surgery, he was right there.

"I sent it to Lance Allen, who is the director of Home Depot's pantheon of giants, and I was wondering if it was legit," said Corcoran. He said it was. The nurse took her phone and wheeled her into the surgery room.

Corcoran remembers the nurse's face. There's a werewolf coming! I have to make this public.

Holly Agouridis was one of the Facebook-group haunters. He's definitely going to go there, I did a cornfield scene on one of my sections, and I was like, 'I do kind of a cornfield-type scene on one of my sections, and I was like, 'He's definitely going to go there' The kids in her neighborhood named him Howie the Howler.

"The Wolfman" is one of Gregory McAdams' favorite movies and he has a werewolf tattoo on his arm. It was exciting to see a werewolf join his skeleton. In front of his home in New Hampshire, he posed his skeleton in two parts, the head in one paw and the other in the other. He had lost his favorite decoration to the werewolf. McAdams says that he is his number one now.

Billy Gridley ordered a backup wolf to be shipped to the store in case something went wrong after ordering one online.

He was worried that he wouldn't be able to get a hold of one. He canceled his second order because the first one was safe.

He says that everything worked well except for the fact that it had two left hands. You need to be kidding me.

"And lo and behold, that one had two right hands, and I was the owner of a complete werewolf, and I swapped the hands and returned one," said Gridley, now the owner of a complete werewolf.

There were other werewolf accidents that didn't end as well. Jim Nelson and his daughter Evelyn were devastated when the werewolf broke his jaw. Nelson said he made a muzzle for him. I glue a leather belt on his head after cutting it up.

Not everyone has been so enthusiastic. A woman in North Carolina has a neighbor who complains to her homeowners association about her werewolf.

Nelson is one of those people who keep their 12-foot skeleton up all year round, dressing him up in costumes for every holiday. The neighbors didn't complain about that.

Bryan Fuller, writer and executive producer of numerous TV shows, including "Hannibal" and "Pushing Daisies", says that werewolves are a part of the horror genre. There is something inside of me that I can't control. If I let it go, there will be bad things.

They can hide who they are. The producer of the documentary series "Queer for Fear: The History of Queer Horror" says that having a giant werewolf in the middle of a queer person's yard means more than just a fuzzy monster from a horror film. It has all of the socio political resonance that I'm interested in.

The werewolf is a hit because it is an under-rated monster. "The Wolfman," "An American Werewolf in Paris" and "Werewolf of London" are only a few of the movies that feature werewolfs. "What We Do in the Shadows" and "Teen Wolf" are examples of comedies written for laughs.

The fear of losing control of your body and having it taken over by your bestial self is something that is terrifying.

While we're on the topic of sexuality, the werewolves seem to have attracted an audience. Who else is a fan of the werewolf? There are furries

Furries are a group of people who are interested in animal characters.

"I was like, wow, this is really hot, I asked to go by the name of my vTube persona, which is Buffpup, a buxom werewolf," says a 29-year-old woman who asked to go by the name of her vTube persona, which She says the Home depot wolf has a nice butt. She jokingly refers to him as her boyfriend. She thinks the werewolf may have been designed with furries in mind.

She says that people are aware of how much money they can make off of furries.

The furries aren't the only ones. The leader of the Halloween Facebook groups was forced to moderate a discussion about the werewolf's body type. He looked naked to a lot of people. One group member asked if they were talking to Ken doll. Is it appropriate for me to ask if you can give me some nudes of the werewolf? Ken Doll. The hair was made of plastic.

Troy was really drooling over that werewolf, but he wasn't in that way. A 54-year-old man from Arthur, N.D., wanted to add to his collection of spooky decor. The half-torso was dressed with pants and spray foam, and covered in blood, as if it were a wolf. He says it looks like the werewolf had a snack. The day-care center brought the kids by to look at his display, which included a 12-foot skeleton, but he didn't hear any screams. He thinks a lot of them liked it.

Houser used the same methods for her campsite. Her talking wolf held a battered body and a fistful of foam guts. He's joined by another, smaller, stationary werewolf and a zombie mannequin that Houser covered in fur. She says that he is turning into a werewolf.

In Rantoul, Ill., the woman went to every Home Depot within 2 1/2 hours to get her wolf, and enlisted her mother-in-law to sew it. Wolfie got a brand new size XXXL shirt after she picked out some neon green fabric. Three Little Pigs or Little Red Riding Hood themes have been used by other werewolf parents. "30 Rock" fans who want to play to a niche audience, wolves wearing yarmulkes, are just some of the things that will be displayed next year.

In the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, the werewolf can be found in a driveway past his graveyard. For a while, it was just a pair of legs, which was both spooky and funny in its own way.

After he was assembled, he enjoyed coming home from work to be greeted by Kevin. That's his nickname. When the moon is full, he's usually just a regular guy. It's funny to call a werewolf Kevin.
