The State Medical Board of Ohio is threatening to limit, suspend, or even permanently revocation of the medical license of the anti-vaccine doctor who made headlines last year for lying to state lawmakers.

"I'm sure you've seen the pictures all over the internet of people who have had these shots and now they're magnets," Tenpenny said in her testimony. There is a key on their forehead. You can put spoons and forks on top of each other and they will stick.

She suggested that there may be an interface between the components of the vaccines and the 5G towers. She said that the connection isn't proven yet, but that they are trying to figure it out.

The strange testimony was given in June of 2021. An investigator for the state medical board showed up at Tenpenny's medical office about a month later to ask her some questions, according to a letter from the state medical board.

The medical board didn't say what the investigator was asking Tenpenny or why she was being investigated. It is hard to imagine magnetism not coming up in the conversation.

The medical board's September letter states that the conversation never occurred. When the investigator showed up, Tenpenny didn't reply to his request for a follow-up or email. On September 7, 2021, the board sent Tenpenny a letter with questions. Tenpenny's lawyer sent a letter back to the board saying that she wouldn't answer any of the questions they sent her.

Stark warning

The board tried again in October to get Tenpenny to show up for the deposition. Tenpenny didn't show up. In June of this year, the board tried again to summon Tenpenny for an "investigative office conference," but she said she didn't believe the investigation had a "lawful basis."

The board decided that Tenpenny's failure to cooperate with the investigation was a grave violation. They told her that her license is in danger. Her license was renewed last September despite the investigation, and the board can limit or revocation her license.

The date of the hearing is not yet set, but Tenpenny is able to request one. In their letter, the board warned about the hearing request.

Please note that, whether or not you request a hearing, Section 4731.22(L), Ohio Revised Code provides that '[w]hen the board refuses to grant or issue a license or certificate to practice to an applicant, [or] revokes an individual's license or certificate to practice … the board may specify that its action is permanent. An individual subject to a permanent action taken by the board is forever thereafter ineligible to hold a license or certificate to practice…'

It's not clear whether the board will take such a permanent action.

Anti-vaccine misinformation and other conspiracy theories have been spread by Tenpenny since she made national headlines with her claims.

There is a bill that Tenpenny supported that would ban vaccine mandates in the state.
