According to a report on Page Six, the pair had hired divorce lawyers after a heated argument forced them to live separately.
The couple had reached a settlement on custody of their children and property and a filing was imminent, according to a report.
Bndchen and Brady met on a blind date. Brady told Details magazine that he was told he was a girl.
He said that he had found a boy version of Bndchen.
Brady proposed to Bndchen when he told her that her apartment was flooding and that he had filled it with candles and rose petals.
The couple were married in Santa Monica, California, in February of 2009.
They have two children with each other. Brady has a son with Moynahan.
