It looks like the Muskification of social media is already under way.
The world's richest man brought in his own engineers from all over to review the site's code, according to a report.
It sounds like it's not clear. Social media sites are very different from electric cars. According to sources close to the situation, the engineers were there to help explain the code to Musk.
According to the report, the code was frozen around noon Pacific Time yesterday to make sure nobody messed with it. The company did the same thing when the Musk deal was first announced.
According to Insider, the new owner of the company has asked people to bring code with them, whatever that means.
People on the site he now owns had a lot to say about Musk's code walk through.
Several others poked fun at how ridiculous the concept of a review is, while one user called it "tire kicking behavior".
"Imagine a random automotive engineer looking at millions of lines of code for a few hours and having to bluff to their incredibly dumb boss that it all looks fine," one user wrote.
Perhaps the sickest burn was issued by Brooke Magnanti, better known as Belle de Jour.
She said that "Go look at the code is to 21st century action movie boilerplate what Enlighten the Video was to the 20th."
According to Musk, the car company is under criminal investigation for claiming its cars can drive themselves.
