According to a report on Friday, Musk plans to take over as the CEO of the platform and restore permanently banned accounts. In private text messages, Musk said that he would reverse all permanent bans except for those that advocated violence. The controversial move opens the door for the return of the individuals listed here and several others, like MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell. Donald Trump's ban reversal is something Musk has spoken about and called immoral. The former president has said that he doesn't want to come back and that he wants to stay on his Truth Social platform. It's not clear if Trump will stick to his guns after being given the chance to return to the platform.
