It is possible to turn your day around. That sort of surprise doesn't get bigger than this.

The sun is smiling in a sunny spectacle that will put a smile on your dial.

The image on NASA's Sun account shows the Sun in many different ways.

The smile we see here isn't a real one. The dark patches are where the solar wind gushes out into space.

There are two of these holes that look like twinkling eyes and a third that looks like a smile.

The phenomenon of pareidolia is where we think of faces in random patterns.

This is a trick of the mind, only this time it is being played out on a Sun-sized scale.

The Sun's face doesn't just look like a smiling face, as some users have pointed out.

There is a striking resemblance to the facial configuration of the Stay Puft marshmallows man.

Is that the face of the Stay Puff marshmellow man from Ghostbusters? pic.twitter.com/NKpAqMrWDU

It is definitely a coincidence.

Even if it's just another example of people seeing something that isn't really there, the phrase'separated at birth' still comes to mind.

Even if this is just a random confluence of solar physics, we can still laugh at it.

Enjoy, so do! Try to see the positives in life wherever you can.

You should let the Sun be your example.
