The team said that Damian Lillard has a Grade 1 strain of his right calf and will be evaluated in 1-2 weeks.
The strain was confirmed by an magnetic resonance image taken Thursday.
The injury occurred with just over five minutes remaining in the third quarter of the game. He did not come back after going to the locker room.
The calf felt a little tight before the start of the game and persisted throughout the half. He strained it in the third quarter after receiving treatment and putting compression on it.
After the game, Lillard said that it wasn't anything that he was concerned with. It wouldn't make sense to push through it in the fifth game.
The Houston Astros play the Portland Trail blazers Friday night. Portland will have a break before playing Memphis next week.
"Now I have to be smart, and make sure I get a couple of treatment sessions in each day, and just try to stretch it," he said. I don't think that game will be played on Friday. I will have six days of maybe two sessions some days and three other days to be ready for that one. We're going to see.
He had 22 points before he was hurt. He's scored 31 points and has four assists and four steals.
