The second season of Jack Ryan was first aired on Amazon Prime Video. It's too long for life to be calm for Clancy. Jack can't escape the pull of Russia even though the title character has been updated to fit in a modern context. The plot of the upcoming season is about restoring the soviet union to its former glory. Who will fall upon to prevent that from occurring? Jack Ryan will always be the same as Russia will always be.
Jack will once again be in hot water with the CIA because of his attempt to stop the Soviet conspiracy. He will have to go rogue and fight the conspirators with a small group of allies.
In the third season of the action-thriller series, Jack Ryan is working as a CIA case officer in Rome when he learns that a secret plan to restore the Soviet Empire is being resurrected more than 50 years after it was thought to have been shut down. Jack is wrongly implicated in a larger conspiracy after he embarked on a mission to confirm the intelligence.
John Krasinski reprises his role as Jack Ryan, with Michael Kelly as Mike November. There are new faces in the cast this season, including Betty Gabriel as Elizabeth Wright, James Cosmo as Luca, Peter Guinness as Petr, and Michael Pea as Domingo 'Ding' Chavez.
The third season of Jack Ryan will premiere on Prime Video on December 21. There will be a fourth and final season of the show.
