According to the report, Musk is going to speak to the employees. He shared a photo of himself speaking to a group at a coffee bar.

All but certain, the deal to buy Twitter will go through by 5 p.m. The deadline is Friday with banks starting to send money to finance the deal. It's not clear if there will be an immediate impact on user experience once Musk takes over the company, but he's reportedly planning massive staffing cuts that will leave a skeleton crew of employees compared to the current workforce. According to the Washington Post, the billionaire plans to eliminate 75% of the company's workforce, which is in addition to the previously reported plans to downsize. Even if Musk's deal fell through, the company was going to cut payroll by over a billion dollars by the end of the year.
