The introduction of new seats may make flying on Spirit's newest iteration less uncomfortable.
The next generation onboard product was unveiled by the carrier on Thursday. Some welcome upgrades to the passenger experience are in store for these newly delivered planes.

The big front seat is one of the best deals in travel. It's the same as a domestic first-class recliner, but it's usually priced closer to a standard extra-legroom economy seat.

There are eight big front seats and 174 regular seats in the new configuration of the A320. The A320s feature 161 seats.
No retrofits of existing planes will be done at this time.
Assuming the takeover is approved, it will be business as usual for Spirit until then.
