After standing by him in photos and business deals, Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown and Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald have decided to part ways with Donda Sports.

They don't deserve your praise. They should not be remembered as being on the right side of history, given their past words and all the things they ignored from the West before arriving at this moment of clarity and enlightenment.

"In the past 24 hours, I have been able to reflect and better understand how my previous statements lack clarity in expressing my stance against recent public remarks and actions."

Brown wasn't qualified to speak about Bill Russell and his legacy before the Celtics' home opener due to his tolerance of West being something Russell wouldn't stand for

Donald wrote a worthless statement that ignored the fact that he was still a client of West's company even after the musician wore a turban.

Brown and Donald don't get to look like the good guys because they showed up to a party at the last minute.

There is no place for antisemitic behavior. There should never be a place where two Black men ignore anti-Blackness just because they like West's music or clothes.

When West said slavery was a choice, and when he claimed George Floyd died from the drugfentanil, where was the outrage from them? The crowd was silent when West wore Confederate flag gear or the GOP used him as a puppet.

West has gone too far and Brown and Donald have had enough.

It appears to be anti-Black while being Black.

Being one of the first athletes to be a part of that is pretty cool. Donald said when he signed with West that they were excited about it.

That's right, welp. Donald discovered that he was found out.

According to a report, Brown fell for the fairytale that West sold him, that he wanted to become a superhero after his playing days were over.

Harvey Dent's line from The Dark Knight is included.

Black people and athletes get caught up in the emotion and guise of Black empowerment too often. At its core, this agency was led by a person who had proven that their goal was to destroy Blackness, not to improve it. It means that his followers, fans, and clients either played a part in or did not play a part in it.

It is impossible to think that Jaylen Brown and Aaron Donald did the right thing by walking away from Donda Sports when you know that they made a terrible mistake by signing with him.
