The first artist rendering of the new stadium for the Bills was released Thursday.

Seven months after an agreement was reached, the Bills gave fans a sneak peek at the stadium's design on their social media accounts.

The team said on March 28 that it had agreed to a 30-year lease for a new stadium that will be built across the street from the current stadium.

The deal has yet to be finalized despite the fact that the deadline was extended into December.

The new Bills stadium is being designed by Populous, a firm that has already designed 17 National Football League stadiums and a soccer stadium in England.

The design of the Bills' stadium is similar to that of Spurs' stadium, both in terms of the sleek exterior and the overhang that protects fans from the elements.

The open-air concept of the Bills' stadium ensured that opposing teams wouldn't have to deal with the cold and snowy winters in Buffalo.

The Bills moved into their current stadium in 1973. The venue used to be called Rich Stadium, New Era Field, and Bills Stadium.

The plan is for the Bills to have a smooth transition from Highmark Stadium to the new stadium in the spring of 2023.
