According to people familiar with the matter, Musk told employees that he wouldn't lay off 75% of the staff when he takes over the company.
This is not the same as what Musk said a week ago. The celebrity executive denied the number when he spoke to employees at the office.
The chief twit posted a video of himself walking into the office before the meeting with the caption "Let that sink in!"
Musk casually mentioned that he would be laying off staff when he took over the company. Losing 75% of the staff would leave the social media company in a bad position.
According to the report, employees are still concerned about expected staff cuts.
