It's almost spring in Montreal, so Off The Hook is celebrating the welcome change of seasons and its 20th anniversary alike by collaborating with Reebok on an expressive Electro 3D 97. Inspired by Montreal's "snowbreak" - an intermittent period between winter and spring where ice, snow and slush still coat the streets but greenery begins to liven up the bleak climate - the design blends tones icy and earthy to bold effect.

Multicolor mesh with an abstract red, pink and green print is used as the base layer. This is covered by white and grey leather overlays, mimicking the beginnings of flora poking through Montreal's slush-blanketed streets. Thankfully, these bright colors can't be contained forever: they're present in full on the tongue, heel tab and midfoot overlays thanks to a mix of expressive green, pink and burgundy tones.

Eyestays and throats offer a potent style as well, with the former spelling out OTH on its lateral and medial anchor points while the latter adds a trifecta of silver deubres. Insoles present a bold cork print, and chrome green accents on the outsole's Vector logo give one final nod to shifting seasons. An Ultralite EVA midsole completes the look with its mixture of comfort and support.

Montreal natives aren't afraid of dirtying their freshest kicks during the "snowbreak," so the Off The Hook x Reebok Electro 3D 97 will release via OTH's webstore/retail outposts on March 13, then hit global stockists on March 14. The MSRP is set at $160 CAD (approximately $116 USD).

Moving from Montreal to NYC, Angelo Baque's Awake NY recently premiered a full collaborative capsule with Reebok - made up of new takes on the Instapump Fury and Workout plus special apparel.
