Hugh Jackman said that the filming of his shirtless scenes for the first "X-men" movie was shifted because he wasn't muscular enough to play the role of Wolverine.

He spoke about how he got the role of the clawed superhero in a new cover story.

At the time of the movie's release, he wasn't a household name in Hollywood. Dougray Scott was supposed to play the villain in the second "Mission: Impossible" movie but he left the film because of scheduling conflicts.

He told Variety that the process wasn't completely smooth.

The interviewer wrote that the Australian actor was not as ripped as he needed to be. He had to have his first scene pushed back because he needed to get in better shape.

"I'm a bit fat," he said. It took me a long time to figure that out.
