The Chicago Bears have agreed to allow the Philadelphia Eagles to use their fourth-round pick in the 2022-23 season.
According to Albert Breer of The MMQB, the Bears will pick up $7.1 million of Brady's remaining salary. For the duration of the campaign, the Eagles will pay over one million dollars.
In seven games for the Bears, he has posted eight tackles and one sack. He had 18.5 sacks in his previous season.
There have been mediocre sack totals with big seasons for the last two years.
He's made an impact on his teammates, as shown by Roquan Smith's reaction to the trade.

There was a need for depth on the edge after the loss of Barnett.

Sheil Kapadia @SheilKapadiaRobert Quinn: Had him as a 2nd-team All Pro last year (18.5 sacks). Not the same production this year (1 sk, 3 QBH in 159 chances). Has been double-teamed often, per ESPN's metrics.Rotational edge, insurance in case of injury. No gtd. money on deal.
Like the trade by Eagles.
Eliot Shorr-Parks @EliotShorrParksRobert Quinn for a 4th rounder is exactly the kind of move the #Eagles should be making On limited snaps he helps the pass rush, which has been good, but he can help make it great
They are Super Bowl contenders. Sacrifice picks for helping the current team.
Ben Volin @BenVolinBig trade for the Eagles. Belichick last week: “Obviously, [Robert] Quinn is one of the great defensive linemen in this era. I mean, his numbers are ridiculous and whatever it was last year, 17, 18 sacks. This guy is a major disruptive force on the edge.” https://t.co/4UIQMit3W0
It looks like a smart move for general manager Howie Roseman. He added Reddick, James Bradberry, A.J. Brown, C.J.Gardner-Johnson, and Jordan Davis in the off-season.
The New Orleans Saints' first- and second-round picks were swapped. The Eagles could have a top 10 pick because of the Saints' poor record.
