Double points, United elite status and SoulCycle: What you need to know about Bilt's November Rent Day promotion

The start-up that allows renters to earn transferrable points on rent is getting ready for its next promotion.

Members will earn double points on all non-rent purchases for 24 hours, be able to register for a United Airlines premier status challenge, and bring a companion to a class for free.

Double Bilt points

During this time period, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 a.m. Double points will be earned on all purchases, except rent. You will earn money when you use your Bilt Mastercard.

• Dining: 6 points per $1 (regularly 3 points per $1).
• Travel: 4 points per $1 (regularly 2 points per $1).
• All other spend, excluding rent: 2 points per $1 (regularly 1 point per $1).

Up to 10,000 bonus points can be earned. The standard 1 point per $1 spent will still be earned by cardholders who pay their rent.

United Airlines Premier status challenge

There is a complimentary United Airlines premier status challenge for Bilt members during October and November. Depending on your Bilt status tier, your premier status challenge will be determined.

• Bilt Blue tier members (open to the general public): Premier Silver.
• Bilt Silver, Gold and Platinum tier members: Premier Gold.

Each year, Bilt Silver, Gold and Platinum need 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 points to qualify. You can earn points when you use a credit card.

For 120 days, your premier status will be valid. You will need to earn the following in order to extend your status.

• Premier Silver: 1,000 Premier qualifying points (PQP) and 4 Premier qualifying flights (PQF).
• Premier Gold: 2,000 PQP and 6 PQF.

SoulCycle Rent Day, Ride Together

A "Rent day, ride together" class will be held on the first day of every month at over 50 SoulCycle locations. A complimentary bike will be given to a member.

There are two ways to reserve special themed classes: through the Bilt rewards or Soulcycle app.

There are more credits coming in, including the addition of Walmart benefits to the Platinum card.

New referral program

The new referral program was launched earlier this month.

You can get 2,500 Bilt Points for every new cardmember you refer. Every five members you refer, you will get a 10,000 point bonus.

Up to 2,025,000 points can be earned by cardmembers.

Refer a friend and earn points or cash credits.
