The Dallas Cowboys running back is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears after missing Wednesday's practice with a knee injury.

There is a lot of time left before Sunday. I want to get this knee as healthy as I can.

According to a source, there is a hyperextended right knee that has caused swelling and bruised after he took a hit in the second quarter of the Detroit Lions game. After the game, he was limping noticeably in the locker room, but he returned to the game and finished with 57 rushing yards on 15 carries.

"My knee feels good, a little stiff," he said.

He played most of last season with a partially torn anterior cruciate ligaments in his right knee that he said took away his burst. He didn't miss a game despite wearing a knee brace.

He told reporters he has enough reps to play against the Bears. After the Cowboys play the Bears, they have a bye, which will allow for a two-week break for him.

"I think it's something that's being considered," he said. By the end of the week, it all depends on how I feel.

The Cowboys would rely on Tony Pollard, who has rushed for 373 yards and two touchdown on 67 carries, if they had to play against Chicago without their star running back. In his career, he's never had more than 14 carries.

Pollard said that the only thing that is guaranteed is injuries. In this league, it is 100% injury. The next guy has to be ready to take over.

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said that the team is fortunate to have both of them and that both are capable of carrying a full load.

In the past two games, the Cowboys have called up rookies from the practice squad, including Qadree Ollison, who is on the practice squad.

The Cowboys are going to have a full-padded practice Thursday and then go through their final practice on Saturday before making a decision.

It will be a group effort. Everyone will have their say, I think. We'll come together at the end of the week to make a decision.
