Burger lovers! According to a new report from the World Resource Institute, those who live in the developed world can still eat delicious burgers and not completely destroy the planet if they limit their consumption to two patties per week.

The only meat you'll eat that week will be the two burgers. Maybe the celebration should be toned down a bit.

Bunbelievable

This revelation was found in the latest edition of the State of Climate Action report from the World Resources Institute. Researchers looked at how much progress was made in 40 key climate indicators, ranging from transport to renewable energy to meat consumption.

We are not doing so well in any of the categories.

According to the report, if humans are to avoid the worst of climate catastrophes, we will have to do a lot of difficult things fast. Coal needs to be phased out six times more quickly than it is currently being done, and the amount of public transport needs to expand six times faster. A rapid increase in the use of fossil fuels is cause for concern.

The world has been devastated by just 1.1 degrees of warming, according to the World Resources Institute. The fight to protect people and the planet has a lot of importance.

Eat Your Veggies

Agricultural emissions, which have been on the rise since the dawn of the industry's industrialization, are a main cause for concern in the sector.

For cholesterol's sake, you should not eat more than two burgers a week. Maybe this week, in the spirit of the State of Climate Action 2022, sub at least one meat meal for a vegetable one.

"We are seeing important advances in the fight against climate change, but we are not winning in any sector."

A study suggests cutting meat consumption to two patties a week.
