Musk changed his bio on the social networking site. Earlier this week, the CEO said that he was back to spare bedroom and couch surfing at a friend's house in Silicon Valley.
The deal needs to be closed by Friday. The judge overseeing the court case gave the two parties more time to argue. The case will resume in a five day trial in November if a new deal is not reached by October 28.
The banks in charge of the debt financing are in the process of signing the documents and Musk has promised the deal will close by Friday.
