The Context

Travelers are more focused on innovation and sustainable practices. Travel retail stakeholders are expected to show a genuine and tangible commitment to sustainable practices.

Consumers are demanding innovation and technology across the online to offline offer and throughout the travel journey in an age where digitalisation has been accelerated.

Mondelez World Travel Retail calls it Travel Retail Made Right and it is guided by the spirit of the Trinity.

The first Trinity Challenge was won by the founder of Aircommerce.

The Challenge

The Moodie Davitt Report and Mondelez World Travel Retail invited ideas, initiatives and solutions to help brands, retailers, airports, airlines and other travel stakeholders showcase and drive the industry's innovation and/orsustainability credentials to travellers.

In order to encourage fresh, alternative and ground-breaking ideas, the terms of reference were non-scriptive.
