  • Ted Cruz talked about a woman sitting behind him at Yankee Stadium.

  • He reminded himself to not look at the woman on camera.

  • Cruz said a friend noted how the Monty Python phrase "She has great tracts of land" could be used.

Ted Cruz talked about a woman in a halter top sitting behind him at Yankee Stadium during the American League Championship Series.

The Texas Republican said that he had to remind himself to look ahead to avoid being caught on camera looking at the wrong woman.

Cruz said that his friend used the Monty Python phrase "She has great tracts of land" to describe her.

He said he was like, "Okay, all we need is one video of me turning around and my eyes moving down." In a second, there are 24 frames. I look down for 24ths of a second and that's the image they use.

I have to admit, I'm looking forward. He said that if he turned around his eyes would be up.

Need more evidence Ted Cruz is a total creep? Here, he recalls fondly gawking at a “gorgeous woman in a halter top” at a Yankees game. This man is a United States Senator. (Via Verdict With Ted Cruz and Mediaite) pic.twitter.com/JJRuy1PX6q

Cruz was at the stadium to support the Astros. He said the media portrayal of his reception is "the very definition of fake news" after some Yankee fans greeted him with hand gestures and four-letter words.

He called one man who yelled at him a "jackass" but he probably took 150 photos with Yankees fans. We took selfies the whole time, because you have these big New Yorkers who are hugging me.

He said that the woman behind him was nice and they took a selfies.

It was already done. There was a jacket on her. He said that she was the fan behind him until she was no longer behind him.

Cruz caused a social media frenzy when his account liked a porn message. He said it was an accident by a staffer.
