Conor Benn in a hood as he enters the ring
Conor Benn is unbeaten in his pro career

The British Boxing Board of Control said that Bennvoluntarily relinquished his licence to box.

Benn's bout with Chris Eubank Jr was canceled after he tested positive for clomifene.

Benn's boxing licence was "relinquished" and "allegations of misconduct" were upheld after he was summoned to a hearing.

Benn's test is being investigated.

The drugs test was administered by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association, a third party hired by Eubank Jr and Benn to provide extra testing for their scheduled catchweight fight

Vada is not an official partner of theBBBofC.

The hearing took place in October. Mr Benn gave up his licence on the day of the hearing.

The allegations were determined by the Board in accordance with its rules and regulations.

There were allegations of wrongdoing against Mr Benn.

Benn could be suspended for between two and four years if found guilty of an anti-doping violation.

If Benn's B sample comes back positive for clomifene, he will have the chance to provide any relevant information which could explain how the substance got into his system. Any punishment could be mitigated by that.

Clomifene can be used to boost testosterone levels in men, but it is not allowed inside or outside of a competition.

Benn, who insists he is a clean fighter, and Eubank were scheduled to fight at a catchweight of 157lb, 30 years after their fathers fought.

The fight was canceled a few days before the fight because it was not in the interest of boxing.

Eddie said Benn would make a statement this week.
