You just need to make an eligible transfer and Aeroplan will post bonus points on your end. Only points transfers from certain partners are eligible. These partners have something in common. Points transfers from Marriott Bonvoy are not included. Marriott's points currency can be used to convert Bonvoy points into airline points. The other programs are not the same as that one.
