Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown and Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald both announced Tuesday night that they are leaving Donda Sports due to antisemitic comments he recently made.

Hours after Adidas ended its relationship with the rapper, there were new announcements.

Brown told The Boston Globe he would stay with Donda Sports even though he didn't agree with Ye's comments.

In the past 24 hours, I've been able to reflect and better understand how my previous statements lack clarity in expressing my stance against recent public remarks and actions. I apologized for that. I want to be clear in this. I will always stand against any form of hate speech, misrepresentation, and oppressive rhetoric.

There are times when my voice and position can't coexist in places that don't correspond with my values. I am no longer associated with Donda Sports.

Donald said that Ye's remarks were the opposite of how he chooses to live his life and raise his children.

"As parents and members of society, we felt a responsibility to send a clear message that bad words and actions have consequences and that we must do better as human beings," Donald said in his statement. We don't feel that our beliefs, voices and actions belong in a place that oppresses people of any background, ethnicity or race. We hope to use our platform to help other families, children and communities through positive outreach after working with many incredible people along the way.

In May, Brown and Donald joined Donda Sports.

Adidas decided to cut ties with Ye, who had developed a huge clothing and apparel partnership with the company.

The company said that it does not tolerate hate speech. The company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness have been violated byYe's recent comments.

As part of its statement, Adidas said it would lose $250 million this year in net income as a result of breaking away from its partnership with Ye, but that doing so was necessary in the wake of antisemitic comments he has made.

Ye has made controversial comments on a number of issues, including on slavery. Ye made a reference to the U.S. defense readiness condition scale known as DEFCON when he posted on the social networking site. He was banned from both social media sites.

Several companies have stopped doing business with him because of his recent antisemitic comments. Several companies have ended their partnerships with him.
