After months of searching, Warner Bros. has found a new leader to head up DC Studios.
David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, announced today that it had decided on the co-chairs and co-CEOS of the DC Studios division, which will behelmed by JamesGunn and PeterSafron. Zaslav was excited about the idea of the two men shaping the future of WBD's superhero offerings.
Their decades of experience in filmmaking, close ties to the creative community, and proven track record thrilling superhero fans around the globe make them uniquely qualified to develop a long-term strategy across film, TV, and animation.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Discovery has a plan for DC Studios to have a creative vision and keep an eye on finances. As part of the four-year-long deal, both of them will keep directing and producing as well as their leadership duties. It is interesting that he will be working only with DC, since he has a connection to theGuardians of the GALAXY franchise.
