Carlos Corberan has been appointed as the new head coach of West Bromwich.
The man who succeeds Steve Bruce at The Hawthorns has been without a club since September.
After guiding them to the play-off final last season, Corberan stepped down.
He joined Olympiakos on August 1st.
Ron Gourlay said that Carlos was in their thoughts from the beginning of the recruitment process.
He is a coach who is determined to bring success to The Hawthorns.
We believe that we can mount a serious assault on the Championship league table if we perform well under his guidance.
In the 16 league games they have played this season, they have won two and lost two.
In August 2000 the club were bottom of the second tier after losing their first three games.
In terms of the league table at a later stage of the season, the Baggies' current position is the lowest they've been since a run of 11 straight defeats from October to Boxing Day in 1995-96.
Corberan had spells in Saudi Arabia and Cyprus, as well as working with ex-Man City and Barcelona head coaches.
He became a member of the backroom team when they won the Championship title in 2020.
Corberan is the ninth boss in six years and will take charge of training on Wednesday.
Three of the games are at home before the World Cup.
They play at The Hawthorns on Saturday and then travel to Queens on November 5th.
They will play their final game of the year on November 12th.
