The Dallas Cowboys acquired defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins and a seventh-round pick from the Las Vegas Raiders for a sixth-round pick on Tuesday.

In their seven games, the Cowboys have allowed over 100 rushing yards in five of them, ranking them 20th in the league in run defense.

Through seven games this season, the Dallas defense has recorded 29 sacks and allowed just 1,289 net passing yards, the lowest by a Dallas defense since 2003 and they are scheduled to face four top 10 rushing offenses the rest of the season.

Hankins was picked up by the Giants in the second round. After five seasons with the Raiders, he is in his 10th. He has been credited with 10 tackles and a pass defended in five games this season.

He brings a lot of size to the Cowboys. Bohanna is the biggest defensive tackle at 6-3, 330 pounds. Last week, the Cowboys added Carlos Watkins to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and Trysten Hill to the active roster.
