The first two games of the World Series will be played in Houston on Friday and Monday. If necessary, the remaining two games will be held in Houston.

The average price for tickets on the secondary market for games in Philadelphia is $3,228, while the average price for games in Houston is $1,584.

According to TicketIQ, the difference in price between the two teams is due to the lack of playoff success for the Philadelphia team. The longer a team isn't in the World Series, the higher the ticket prices are.

When the Chicago Cubs appeared in the World Series for the first time in over 70 years, the average price for tickets was over $6,500, the highest price since TicketIQ started tracking average prices in 2010.
