We have known for a while that Chase is opening a lounge at the airport. The first opening came out of the left field.

Basics of the Chase Sapphire Lounge Hong Kong

The Club Hong Kong has a lounge called the Chase Sapphire Lounge. The lounge is 11,948 square feet and is located in Hong Kong Airport. The lounge is open from 8AM until 8PM and will likely be open longer in the future.

There are amenities for the lounge advertised.

• Locally curated menus and art
• Fresh and seasonal dining options
• Signature cocktails, local beer, and a curated wine list
• Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi
• Spaces for relaxing and working
• An in-lounge digital experience for food and beverage orders, as well as access to media and entertainment 

Hong Kong is the first airport to receive a Chase lounge. It is still not nearly as open as other destinations despite the fact that travel restrictions are starting to be lifted. It was just a good opportunity to change the name of the lounge to Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club.

Chase Sapphire Lounge Hong Kong access requirements

Airport lounges, which are called "The Club", run "The Club" airport.

Those with the Chase Reserve Card will have access to the lounges, as you would expect based on the name. Priority Pass members will also be able to access these lounges.

Premium credit cards have Priority Pass memberships. A Priority Pass membership with a Capital One Venture X rewards credit card and The Platinum card from American Express would give you access.

The lounges aren't accessible to those with the Chase Preferred Card.

Other Chase Sapphire Lounges coming 2023 and beyond

As part of the announcement of the Chase Lounge Hong Kong opening, we have learned that the other Chase lounges won't be opening until at least 2023. I was under the impression that some US lounges would open this year, but that seems to have changed.

It isn't necessarily a lot of time to wait for the game to be over in two months.

Bottom line

The Club Hong Kong has a lounge called The Chase. It makes sense that this was the first Chase lounge to open, as it was a refresh of an existing lounge space.

I am curious to see what the food and drink selections are like at the lounge.

The Chase Sapphire Lounge looks good. I think we will have some serious crowding issues at locations in the US, given how common of an issue that is with Priority Pass lounges.
