You're not alone if you've been trying to send a message on the messaging service. The messaging app has been down for a long time. The service isn't working in the US, Canada, parts of Europe, and Asian countries like India, Malaysia, Japan, and the Philippines. Users can't connect to the service or their messages aren't being delivered if they get stuck with the wheel. The two social media sites seem to be working well.

The issue affects both the mobile and web versions of the messaging service. If you try to set it up now, you'll be stuck in loading mode because it's not sending messages. People in certain locations are affected more by the app's downtime. Small businesses in Brazil and India use the app to communicate with customers, to sell goods and even to receive payments.

Meta said in a statement.

"We're aware that some people are currently having trouble sending messages and we're working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible."

After at least an hour of downtime, the messaging service has begun to work again for some users.
