Thousands of users have not been able to send or receive messages.
At around 3 a.m., the power went out. Down Detector reported on Tuesday morning. According to the site, there were more than 67,000 reports of the Down Detector going down.
Problems with the app were reported by users in the UK, India, South Africa, Asia, and some European countries.
The app was not working an hour after it went down.
Users weren't able to send or receive messages because they weren't able to access the app. The single or double tick next to the message indicates that a message has been sent and delivered to another person. The calls didn't go through.
There wasn't an internet connection at the top of the app.
Meta did not reply to Insider's request for comment.
The ability to send messages via the business platform is being disrupted. Meta said that their teams are working to mitigate the issue.
