Dove and other popular brands were recalled by the company after they were found to be contaminated with a cancer-causing chemical. Rockaholic and Bed Head are two brands that are covered by the recall, according to a notice on the FDA website.

There are products that were made before October 2021. Questions about the safety of aerosols in personal-care products have been raised before. In the past year and a half, a number of aerosol sunscreens have been pulled from shelves. The recalls were started by an analytical lab in New Haven, Connecticut, called Valisure.
