Carnival Ecstasy won't be coming back with another cruise operator.
The cruise ship which sailed its last voyage for Carnival earlier this month has filed a trip plan for Aliaga, Turkey, the site of a major ship scrapping operation that has become the final resting place for such notable vessels as Princess Cruises'Pacific
On Monday, Carnival Ecstasy was shown crossing the Atlantic just southeast of Bermuda, heading to the Mediterranean and Turkey.

Carnival Ecstasy was going to Turkey for "recycling", according to a spokesman for Carnival.
One of the last remaining ships in Carnival's hugely successful Fantasy-class series was built in 1991, and it was instrumental in the growth of the cruise industry.
