Apple Releases macOS Ventura With FaceTime Handoff, Continuity Camera, Stage Manager, New Apps and More

The latest version of the operating system is compatible with the iMac and later.

Handoff now allows you to take calls on the Mac and transfer them to the phone you're on in the other room. There is an option to mark messages as unread, as well as the ability to fix errors in Messages. There are new collaboration features that can be used.

A dedicated Weather app and a clock app will be available in the Mac version of macOS Ventura. The new design of System Preferences is similar to the settings app on iPhone and iPad.

Passkeys is a next- generation credentials that will be used by Apple to make Safari safer. Pass keys are more secure than passwords because they are never on a web server. PassKeys are easy to use, with sign-ins verified through Touch ID or Face ID, and they can be used on non-Apple devices with iPhone security.

Quick Look support for previewing files has been added to Spotlight's design. Images can be searched for in the Photos app by location, people, scenes, and objects. Live Text can be found in images, and Spotlight can be used to create a document, run a shortcut, or start a timer.
