The CEO of the voting technology company dismantled Donald Trump's election-fraud conspiracy theory on "60 Minutes" on Sunday.

"60 Minutes" is not a news show. Trump went on to push a number of conspiracy theories and baseless claims about election fraud and plots against him by the FBI.

Lawyers close to Trump claimed that the machines were part of a plan to flip votes to Joe Biden.

There is no evidence to support Trump's claims of widespread election fraud in 2020.

The damage was done by the misinformation pushed by Trump and his allies.

"My kids are not allowed to get any package from the front door until we verify that it's actually from a trusted sender," Poulos said.

The conspiracy theories about the company were dismissed by him.

"That's absolutely not," he said.

Do you use a company from Venezuela that has been used to steal elections in other countries? Cooper wanted to know.

"That's absolutely not," he said. All of this can be cut short. My family was born in Toronto. There isn't anything to do with Venezuela.

Is it possible to flip votes in the computer system. Cooper wanted to know. Is it possible to add votes that did not happen?

"No, absolutely not," he replied.

The paper ballot the machines use is retained so the accuracy of the count can be verified in audits.

There are a number of lawsuits against businesses and right-wing media that push conspiracy theories about the company.

Fox News claims that it has the right to handle the claims.

Trump has made a number of false claims about the 2020 election, including that it was stolen from him and that he will run for president again in 2024.
