On Tuesday, as the sun begins to rise, the moon will move into Earth's path to make a show of itself.

Europe, northern Africa, the Middle East and Asia will be able to see a partial solar eclipse. The eclipse will be visible in Reykjavik at 8:58 a.m. 15 percent of the sun will be blocked by the moon by 11 a.m. The shadow is expected to peak in Chelyabinsk in Russia at 4 p.m. and then diminish in New Delhi at 5 p.m.

The shadow of the moon only covers a small part of the Earth's surface and can only be seen from certain areas. This one is not for you. Your time is about to come.

The sun is blocked by the moon in a solar eclipse. As the moon makes its way around the Earth, it casts a shadow on the planet. The solar eclipse will be visible from that shadow.

The "WOW" factor varies depending on where you observed it, according to the deputy executive director of the Royal Astronomical Society.

In London the eclipse will be a bit wow, but in Chelyabinsk it will be a medium wow. In India, eclipse viewers will be able to see the moon take a bite out of the sun as the sun begins to set.

If you haven't seen one before, it's a great experience.

The weather forecast is the most important thing. There will be a cloudy day.

It is rare for the moon and the sun to be aligned. Solar eclipses occur when the moon crosses the plane of Earth's elliptical path. Six months apart, eclipse windows occur. The last full eclipse took place in April.

When the moon completely blocks out the sun, partial eclipses occur more often. The partial eclipse won't be a dramatic event. It will look like a cloud.

He said it would be a bite from a sun. Even if you are out, it won't be noticeably dark. Your eye is able to adapt.

If you are going to view the eclipse in person, you should never look directly at the sun. Solar eclipses can be dangerous because you don't have time to adjust to the sudden changes in light. If you want to view the show safely, you can either buy a pair of special glasses or build a projector. It is worth the risk to feel like a child.

It's not safe to look at the sun. Even if it is 20 percent covered, there is still a lot of sun.

Eclipse glasses block out most of the sunlight so you can see the bite out of the moon. Special solar filters can be found on telescopes.

If you want to host a watch party or answer questions, you can reach out to the local astronomy society. You can watch from your couch. There is a watch party on the website. The event will be streamed from Rome. Everyone is welcome.

Next month, people in the United States will be able to view an eclipse. North America, South America and Eastern Asia will be able to see a total lunar eclipse in November. Three years is a long time for a lunar eclipse.
