The Los Angeles Clippers suffered a lot of injuries in their 37-23 loss to the Seattle Sonics on Sunday.
Jackson dislocating his knee in the second quarter and was carted off the field. Williams had to be helped out of the field in the fourth quarter because of an ankle injury.
Williams was taken to the locker room on a cart after walking off the field. After the game, Allen mentioned a high ankle injury for Williams, but said there hadn't been tests to confirm it.
Jackson was injured when he tried to defend a touchdown pass caught by a wide receiver. An air cast was put on Jackson's leg and he was carted off the field.
The coach described Jackson's injury as significant.
Williams got hurt after catching a 12-yard pass in traffic. Williams had a touchdown and seven catches for 86 yards.
Jackson and Williams are the latest in a long list of injured players, which includes Pro Bowl edge rusher Joey Bosa and Pro Bowl left tackle Rashawn Slater.
Jackson signed a five-year, $825 million free agent contract with the Bolts in March after four seasons in New England.
He wasn't able to duplicate the success he found with the Pats.
Jackson missed two of the first four games after undergoing ankle surgery.
Jackson did not play in the second half of the win over the Broncos.
Jackson was replaced by Michael Davis in the first half because it wasn't good enough. We needed to make a change.
