According to Mark Gurman, an M2 variant of the Mac Pro is one of the new computers Apple plans to announce. Gurman reported in his newsletter that the company has been testing a version of its high-end desktop that has a 24 core processor and 76 core graphics card. He thinks Apple will allow customers to choose between two different chipsets. Gurman has decided to call them the "M2 Ultra" and "M2 Extreme." He believes that the Mac Pro will come with options for up to 128 gigabytes of memory. The M2 Max is a processor Apple has yet to announce. The base M2 has 8CPU cores and 10GPUs. The M2 Max is expected to have at least 12 CPUs and 38GPUs. Gurman expects Apple to announce new versions of the MacBook Pro and a new Mac mini before the new Mac Pro arrives. According to him, Apple's new high-end laptops will feature the company's new M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, while the Mac mini will ship with the same M2 Silicon found in its 2022. Gurman doesn't mention if Apple will release an M2 Pro variant of the Mac mini. The devices should arrive soon.
