In the first half of Sunday's 16-9 win against the Denver Broncos at Empower Field, New York Jets running back Breece Hall, one of the top rookies in the NFL, suffered what coach Robert Saleh said is likely an anterior knee injury.
The initial diagnosis was not good according to the man.
Hall was hurt in the second quarter when he was tackled by a group of players in front of the Jets' sideline.
Medics helped him off the field. He tried to walk alone to the locker room, but couldn't get there. The Jets have leaned on Hall's running and pass-catching during their surprising start to the season.
Hall wrote that he was resilient after the win. Through the trials and difficult times. The Jets won.
Resilient! Through all the trials and tribulations🙏🏾 JETS WIN!!!!!! #LFG
