Nancy Pelosi doesn't think Donald Trump is good enough for a deposition.

The committee subpoenaed Trump on Friday, requiring him to turn over critical documents by November 4 and appear before the committee by November 14.

Pelosi told Jonathan Capehart on "The Sunday Show" that she didn't think he was capable of showing up. His lawyers might not want him to show up because he has to testify. I don't believe he's going to show up. I don't believe he is man enough. We're going to see.

After the committee voted to subpoena Trump, he sent a letter repeating his false claims.

The public should make a judgement if he shows up. There is no excuse for anyone to be above the law. They should make a judgement about how he responds to that request if we believe that.

Citizens can conclude that Trump is above the law if he doesn't comply with the subpoena.

The committee's actions are up to them. Pelosi said that whatever they decide will send a message about Trump's respect. The oath we take to protect and defend the constitution of the United States is not being honored by him. Most of us had more respect for the office he held than he did.

The members of the panel believe that Trump is required to comply with the subpoena. The DOJ holding Trump in criminal contempt is a bridge we cross if we have to, according to Rep. Adam Kinzinger.

According to The New York Times, Trump has mused that he might comply with the subpoena if his testimony is broadcast live.

The proceedings could be delayed until Republicans take control of the House in the fall. On January 3, 2023, the committee will be dissolved along with the congress.
