AP College Football Poll 2022: Week 9 Top 25 Rankings Announced

There was some movement in the AP poll after two top 10 upsets.

Alabama got back on track with a convincing win over Mississippi State, while Ole Miss and UCLA lost their first games of the season. Ohio State and Tennessee are still near the top of the polls.

Ole Miss lost their first game of the season.

Oregon beat UCLA 45-30 in the Pacific-12. Bo Nix, a transfer from auburn, threw five touchdown passes for Oregon.

After a rocky start to the season against Georgia, Oregon is now 6-1 and in the AP poll.

Georgia and Ohio State both had byes last week.

The last game, Alabama's defense allowed 52 points to Tennessee. After giving up a touchdown as time expired in the game, the Tide went on to win 30-6.

The Horned Frogs scored the final 28 points of the game to beat Kansas State and keep their playoff hopes alive. The Frogs are ranked 7th in the nation.

There are only six teams remaining in the game, with Ohio State facing Penn State and Tennessee playing Kentucky.
