A family of five were stuck in a hotel after their truck was stolen on their way to Disney World.

The truck was missing after we woke up the next morning to go to Disney. We weren't able to do anything. We were stuck in the hotel room for a long time. Kids were upset.

Cassidy and her husband Ryan decided to surprise their children with a trip to Disney World. The trip turned sour when the couple realized that their white Ford F-150 was missing from the Comfort Suites where they were staying.

The truck had IPads, Apple Watches, an iPhone, car seats for the couple's children, and a tool box that was also stolen, according to Cassidy. The security cameras at the hotel showed the truck leaving the parking lot at 1:45 a.m.

There isn't much the police can do but it is reported as stolen.

The truck and other valuables that were also stolen are being looked for by the police department. The IPads and Apple Watches that were in the truck are no longer connected.

"I've had a lot of people on Facebook, where I put the post, and say that the same thing has happened to them," he said.

She said that the theft of their truck and other belongings cast a shadow over their family vacation.

"We've been trying to take the kids to Disney every year and this definitely hit hard."
