On Thursday, Apple announced in a press release that the next version of its mobile operating system will be released in the fall. Previously only available to Apple Watch owners, the company's newest update gives access to Apple's Fitness+.

"Apple built Fitness+ to be the most inclusive and welcoming fitness service in the world, and the response from our users has been overwhelmingly positive," said Jay Blahnik, Apple's vice president of Fitness Technologies.

A new workout program called "Yoga for Every Runner" is one of the new programs being introduced within Fitness+.

exclusive perks to Fitness+ users are offered by Apple. Target Circle members will get a free four-month trial of Fitness+, according to the release.

The feature will be integrated into the fitness app on your Apple device.

Users will be able to turn on and off the "Clean Energy Charging" feature in their settings. There is a description underneath the on/off switch.

When lower carbon emission electricity is available, iPhone will try to reduce your carbon footprint by charging when it's convenient.

The "Live Activities" feature will show up on the lock screen after updating to the newest version of the operating system. According to CNBC, the feature will show information from third-party apps such as sports game updates, status of a food delivery order, or ride-sharing apps.

A new look for the lock screens and home screens of the iPhone was introduced in the September update.
