A Georgia election official is looking for an apology from the administration for the record voter turnout that followed the Biden administration's lawsuit against the state.

How many turnout records do we need to break before Georgia's leaders apologize? The Chief Operating Officer of the Georgia Secretary of State's Office told Fox News Digital that there was a continued surge in voting in the state.

Georgia has seen a record early voting turnout since the first day of early voting on Monday, according to a press release.

The press release said that the number of voters who have cast their ballot so far is just under 400,000, which is a 63% increase from the same time in the last election.

There's a lot of politics going on ahead of the mid-term elections.

The Secretary of State's office told Fox News Digital that they were on track to break records. More than 200,000 Georgians voted by mail for governor. We have received over two hundred thousand requests for Absentee Ballots this year. The total for mailed-in ballots will be higher than in the previous year. We have broken the early vote record so far, and we are close to the early vote number in 2020.

Keeping lines short, preventing our ENet system from crashing again, and empowering voters to access the ballot are some of the things the SOS should be focused on.
