There are rumors that the next Mac Pro will have chip options that are at least twice or four times as powerful as the M2 Max. According to Mark Gurman, Apple has increased testing of the high-end Mac in preparation for its launch next year.
The machine will feature new and more powerful in-house chips, dubbed the "M2 Ultra" and "M2 Extreme," according to Gurman. There are two variations, each with 24 and 48 core and 76 and 152 core graphics cards. The base M2 comes with 8 core and 10 core, and the rumored M2 Max will come with 12 core and 38 core, according to rumors.
Gurman shared a Mac Pro configuration that is currently being tested. The machine comes with a lot of memory and a lot of computing power. The first version of Ventura is due to launch on Monday. The Mac Pro is due for a refresh next year.
We are looking for the new MacBook Pros with M2 Pro and M2 Max options as well as the Mac Mini that will come with the same M2 chip as the MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook. These devices are expected to be revealed by Apple.
