Robert Saleh: Trading Elijah Moore is not an option (0:23)

The Jets won't be trading Moore, according to the head coach. There is a 0:23

8:00 PM AST

The New York Jets are in Denver.

This is the first thing. The trade deadline is in nine days and general manager Joe Douglas is on the phone.

In three years on the job, Douglas has not missed a trade deadline. With a 4-2 record, the Jets are well-positioned to be flexible.

The spotlight will be on Moore, who has requested a trade. The Jets don't want to trade him. It would be hard to get equal value because his production still hasn't matched his potential. Attempting to work through their differences with Moore is the best course of action.

The Jets are willing to listen to offers for both Mims and Hall who haven't been able to get on the field In the first six games, Mims was a healthy scratch. Moore went to New Jersey to clear his head. In one game, Hall played on the defense. He has started before so he could get some interest.

We're talking about a late-round draft pick, but there's no need to send them packing just yet. A source with direct knowledge of the situation says the Jets were looking for a fourth-round pick for Mims after he requested a trade. They are not going to get that much.

Mims said his trade request is still on the table, but a trade seems more unlikely because of the uncertainty surrounding Moore. Mims could be useful.

The Jets could possibly trade for a player. There are no glaring holes on the roster and Douglas is more likely to be aggressive because of the team's position. They could use more depth at the two positions.

The deadline is Douglas' favorite time of the year. He traded Leonard Williams in order to get draft capital. He imported Laurent Duvernay-Tardiff who started.

There are two Moore has been targeted on only a small percentage of his routes. It's 78th out of 81 qualified wide receiver. Even though he's the quarterback, he's been targeted less than before. It's understandable that Moore is frustrated, but he needs to understand that the team is winning for something. His timing isn't good.

There are three. Moore has a future with the Jets, even though he requested a trade. Things don't stay the same in the National Football League. It happened with the San Francisco 49ers, who escaped a difficult situation with wide receiver Deebo Samuel, according to the coach.

The 49ers didn't honor Samuel's trade request but they did repair the relationship. The same thing could happen with Moore. The 49ers extended Samuel's contract by three years. The old-fashioned way of doing it is a little pep talk with some ego stroking.

There are four. Moore and Carter are both second year players who have lost opportunities due to the emergence of a rookies. In Carter's case, it's Breece Hall, who started for the first time. For Moore, it's someone else. Moore used social media to make his trade request. Carter has refused to make noise.

Carter said it would be "insecure" for him to be worried about it. I know I can play, but I'm happy for him because he deserves it and he works hard." I enjoy watching my teammates play.

Carter is one of the most respected leaders on the team because he is the heart of the offense.

There are five. He received a text from Richard Sherman, one of his former players, when he was sitting on the bus outside Lambeau Field. The Green Bay Packers wide receiver tried to shake the rookies hand with a double move on a comeback route but failed. The agility of the 6-footer was extraordinary and he changed direction five inches shorter.

"I was very impressed with that play," he said.

Sherman recognized another pass break from the game and gave a shout out to him on social media. The former star is appreciated byGardner.

A lot of people compared me to that guy, so it feels good. He was a member of the Legion of Boom and the 49ers. It's good to hear that from him.

The man is off to a great start. He's the only player since 2000 to have a pass breakup in each of his first six games. Trufant is one of the other two.

There are six. It made the trip back to New Jersey from Green Bay if you were wondering about the foam cheesehead. He carried it on the team flight and it is sitting at his house. He said he was going to show it.

There are seven. Not every member of the Jets'vaunted draft class is living up to their potential.

In two of the six games, Jeremy was a healthy scratch. Kenny Yeboah was promoted from the practice squad to replace him as theTE3. The Jets don't usually have three tight ends in the offensive game plan. He missed the start of the season because of a foot injury, but has had plenty of time to recover.

Yeboah played a team high 26 snaps on special teams. The blocked punt was set up by his rush.

There are eight. The Jets are playing their best football of the season in the fourth quarter. Their point differential is the second best in the fourth quarter in the past decade, trailing only the 2016 Broncos.

The fourth quarter shows a lot about a team. They were minus 44 in the fourth last season.

Carter said that they have more weaponry.

There are nine. To prepare for Denver's altitude, the Jets created a nutrition plan for the players. Heavy hydration and a lot of calories were emphasized. John said he ate a lot of pretzels and drank a lot of water.

There are ten. It's crazy how that can happen. Everyone was talking about the same old Jets. The perception of the team has changed with winning, and now they're saying we have to stay humble.
