New York City Mayor Eric Adams said Friday that subway riders shouldn't wear headphones or focus on their phones.

In a wide-ranging interview with FOX 5's "Good Day New York," the Democratic leader said that there had been an increase in subway arrests.

The city's government is trying to make people feel safe in New York.

The subway is the same as yesterday. Bianca Peters said that she hasn't put her earbuds in for over a year because she needs to be aware. Quality-of-life is an issue.

There is a link between the NYC subway attack and the terror scare.

Adams said that he thought that you were correct in not having your iPods in. I agree to that. We put out a video and information to let people know what's going on around them. New Yorkers are encouraged to do that.
