The handler claimed that the private table was for someone who is dating a prince. She would marry Prince Harry one year later.
Do you know that my guest is dating Prince Harry and about to become a duchess? Cecchi-Azzolina referred to the staffer. There is a private area for us to wait.
Cecchi-Azzolina told them he did not have a private table.
Cecchi-Azzolina describes his reaction in his book. I wanted to laugh. By the attention the escort was drawing from the crowd at the bar, he wrote, he could give two shits.
While the handler spoke to Cecchi-Azzolina, he wrote that he didn't hear anything from the bride.
They did not reply to Insider's request for comment.
According to his memoir, other celebrities had bad things to say about Cecchi-Azzolina. He said that Anna Wintour and Naomi Campbell's behavior was "rude" and "horrifying."
The book will be on sale on December 6.
