The Kerbal Space Program 2 is entering early access on February 24th. The early access release date for the Kerbal Space Program sequel was revealed last week by the developer, but it was only after the initial announcement of the project in 2019. The game is currently available to wishlist on Steam and will be available on the store for $49.99.

The Kerbal Space Program is a simulation of space flight that allows you to build your own rockets, shuttles, rovers, and other spaceships. The little green people who are enthusiastic about space flight add some much needed levity to your failures.

These Kerbals don’t care that I’ve marooned them in orbit, they’re just happy to be here.

While a big part of the KSP experience centers around experimentation and getting things wrong, Intercept Games is working to smooth over some of the rougher parts with the sequel. With the upcoming early access release, players can expect a vastly improved user experience with a reworkedUI, a new catalog of parts to experiment with, and more, to get new players up to speed

There are a lot of features expected at the launch of KSP2. Off-world colony construction is one of the options that will be included in post-launch updates.

KSP has a way of teaching you what words mean without you knowing it. The game allows you to make a lot of mistakes and learn from them, which is something the studio is aware of as they prepare for early access. He says we are going to fail out loud and there is nothing more Kerbal than that.

I have spent a lot of time creating and crashing my own creations in the original KSP. I can't wait to send an ambitious new generation of little green people careening into the universe and I audibly cheered when I finally managed to perform my first high-orbit intercept.
